The I-360 blank is provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to foreigners, who seek green cards within certain categories of “special immigrant visas”, a widow(er), child, parent, or abused spouse of a US citizen.
In the majority of cases, the applicants have to complete and submit the application themselves. In unique cases, a sponsoring organization undertakes all the related duties.
I-360: What Happens If I Remarry?
If you submitted the form and remarried, your template will be converted to the I-130 and adjudicated. However, adjudication itself doesn’t guarantee a positive result.
What Happens After the I-360 Is Approved?
The procedure differs if you apply in the United States or from abroad. If in the USA, you are allowed to submit your application for an “adjustment status” altogether with the blank without waiting for preliminary approval. After your document is approved, the U.S.CIS will contact the National Visa Center on your case. All you have to do is follow the instructions.
What Are Form I-360’s Supporting Documents?
In some cases, you should pradditional documents with the blank. However, the list of these docs will differ depending on the category under which you are applying.
